Flush PLUMBING down the Drain!

Brent has been a plumber for the majority of his working career. For the most part it has been a satisfying, profitable career choice for him...Until this last year! Although being a plumber wasn't necessarily the problem...construction is falling fast in our economy and work is hard to come by. The company Brent has been working for has tried desperately to find work, anywhere and everywhere...turns out NO WHERE close to home is all they found. As you know from reading this blog Brent has been out of town for the better part of 8 months. We have missed him and it has been very difficult on our family.
After many prayers and long talks, we decided it was time for Brent to pursue a new livelihood. This too put a lot of strain on him.
BUT two weeks ago he was offered a job at ALSCO.
ALSCO has been in our family for a number of years and has served our family members well. Russ, our Bro-in-Law currently works there and was the one who informed us of the open position. Both Kori and Russ helped Brent through his FIRST job application process. We appreciate their support and all the help they were to the both of us through the last month.
Today Brent starts his new job. A new job that includes slacks and dress shirts...no more dirty jeans, stained t-shirts, muddy boots. No more burn injuries or nearly severed appendages.
He is a business man. Dressed to impress!

Today is a new beginning in our life together. Out with the OLD in with the NEW!
We are so blessed and so grateful for our lives, family and friends!

I had bad dreams last night about Brent "forgetting" to show up for his new job. I woke up feeling panicked and then thought...he would never do that! So I was happy to see him dressed and ready to go this morning, on your blog. He looks very cute. We are so proud of him and all he went through to get this job. Good Luck Brent...but we know you'll be successful because that's just how you are.

What a handsome fellow. I would buy anything you were selling. I hope you have a great first day. I know you will... your coworkers are pretty funny guys. Just a suggestion, you should try and get in tight with that Russ guy if you can... he's a bit of a whacko, but he might take you to lunch now and then.
