FHE...FREDETTE at our HOME this EVENING!!!

Last night was our monthly combined FHE and us Ellsworth's were in charge. So I decided to break the family into teams and host a series of small contests. A puzzle challenge, eating dirt and worms (Oreo's and gummies of course) with no hands, catching whoppers in your mouth while another teammate threw them at you...etc. It was just a fun night of playing childish games together and laughing. Nana was not too good at the Whopper catch however. Someone forgot to tell her that you should really try to keep your eye on the whopper...or at least keep your eyes OPEN.
Papa mastered the Oreo challenge...6 smashed Oreos and two very hard gummy worms. Kori took her sweet time and just enjoyed her cookies.
After FHE our family participated in the 5th annual Chelsi Run. We have been able to participate each year...it has become an Ellsworth Family tradition. Papa and Nana always join in since the run takes place on their street...whether they run, walk or sit out in the front yard and cheer us on. We truly enjoy this event and look forward to it each year.
this year however the was a celebrity guest...yep good ol' Jimmer (and his new wife Whitney) was there to honor Chelsi and take part in the run. He started the race by saying a few words about Chelsi and thanking her friends and family and by shooting off the starting gun. Then he proceeded to walk the neighborhood visiting with all the participants and stopping to take MANY photos along the way.
He was even so kind as to stop at Papa and Nana's house for a photoshoot.
I was so impressed by him. He really is a classy guy and such a good example.
It sure turned out to be ONE FUN FHE!!!

What a GREAT night! FHE was very fun and even though I only got to eat ONE whopper (which Kori threw into my mouth from just 2 inches away) I still thought the games were exciting. You did a great job of hosting our Family Night.

.....And then there was JIMMER!! WOW...what a thrill. He was so cute and acted like he had all night to let me take pictures of him with various cameras, etc. He really is a class act!

OH my goodness! How thrilling for all of you and what a really nice thing for him to do! He had a great night on the courts last night, didn't he?

I think it is great that this run for Chelsi continues. Did he know her while he was there at school?

That is so awesome! My family would have begging for a photo with him. That is really cool of him and what a fun FHE.
